Marking 75 years of Independence, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has announced welfare schemes under the Amrith programme.
As India entered the 75th year of Independence on August 15, CM Basavaraj Bommai announced ten new schemes that will primarily focus on rural and urban development under the Amrith programme. CM Bommai announced ten welfare schemes across various sectors, such as sports, farming, urban development, others at the Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground in Bengaluru. According to sources, the schemes will cost more than Rs 720 crore to the state exchequer.More Related News
