Kane Williamson said on Sunday that he and his partner Sarah Raheem have been blessed with a baby boy. The star New Zealand batter had left the IPL bio-bubble to be with his family for the birth of his 2nd child.

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson took to social media on Sunday, May 22 to announce the birth of his second child with partner Sarah Raheem. Williamson and his partner have been blessed with a baby boy.

"Welcome to the whnau little man," Williamson said in an Instagram post, sharing a photo of the newborn along with his partner Sarah and their first child. Williamson and Raheem have a daughter Maggie, who was born in 2019.

Wishes have been pouring in for Williamson and his partner after the star cricketer made the announcement with a heartwarming Instagram post.

Notably, Williamson had left the SunRIsers Hyderabad bio-bubble on May 18 and flew back to New Zealand to be his with partner and family for the birth of their second child. Williamson was leading SunRiers Hyderabad in IPL 2022.

The New Zealand Test skipper was replaced by Bhuvneshwar Kumar who was the stand-in captain for their final IPL 2022 league match against Punjab Kings on Sunday, May 22.

The result did not go SRH's in the final league match of IPL 2022 as they were unable to defend a 157-run total on a two-paced pitch at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Riding on Liam Livingstone's blitz, PBKS chased down the target with 4.5 overs to sprae.

SRH finished 8th in the 10-team league table after picking up 12 points in 14 matches.
