Prosecutors have reached plea deals on federal hate crime charges with two of the three White men convicted of killing Black man Ahmaud Arbery, court documents show. Arbery's parents are "vehemently against" the deals, their lawyer says.
Arbery, 25, was shot to death while jogging in a Brunswick, Georgia, neighborhood in February 2020.
Travis McMichael, 35, his father Gregory McMichael, 66, and neighbor William "Roddie" Bryan were convicted of state murder charges in November.
