Bengaluru is in the top position with the highest number of jobs and employment created, with a 17.6 per cent proportion in 2021-22.
Bengaluru created the most number of jobs in 2021-22 across India, ahead of Delhi and Mumbai, according to a study. While sales and business development was the highest job-creating sector, Information Technology (IT) engineers were the highest paid in the country, the study insights by chat-based direct hiring platform Hirect showed.
The hiring industry has already been revolutionized and has been majorly disrupted. The experts have already started to adapt, overcome and improvise their hiring strategies. The main focus is on employee retention and employee experience (from interview to onboarding). The fast, quick, and quick hiring process, with the emergence of new-age companies, is the "Next New Normal" for the hiring industry, according to Hirect.

Delhi is in the second spot with an 11.5 per cent proportion, followed by Mumbai at 10.4 per cent and Noida with a six per cent employment proportion.
Sales and Business Development is the top-job-creating sector. It accounted for 26.9 per cent of employment in 2021-22.
IT/ITES has created the second-highest employment with 20.6 per cent of employment for the year.
Marketing accounts for 9.9 per cent of employment.
