India women's cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues wrote a heartfelt note on social media after receiving her Test jersey. India are currently in quarantine in Mumbai before they head to England for a one-off Test and 6 limited-overs matches.
The new Test jersey of the India women's team was unveiled on Sunday during a small ceremony organised at their team hotel in Mumbai wherein they are in quarantine. Newly-appointed head coach Ramesh Powar called for a meeting wherein there were special presentations for the team in the lead up to their departure to England. India last played a Test against South Africa in Mysore and they will be taking on England in one-off Test in Bristol from June 16 before playing 3 ODI and as many T20Is in England. Sharing details from the meeting on Sunday, India women's cricket team batter Jemimah Rodrigues wrote a heartfelt note on social media. She said a meeting was called on my head coach Powar where the contributions of past cricketers to women's cricket were highlighted.
