
Japan launches $1.47B rocket, destroys it after second stage failure

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) destroyed its $1.47 billion H3 rocket after a Tuesday launch due to an ignition failure in its second stage.
The H3 rocket – the country's first new rocket series in over two decades – blasted off from the Tanegashima Space Center. Julia Musto is a reporter for Fox News and Fox Business Digital.
