Jalen Brunson has done more than figure it out in new Knicks offense
NY Post
Travel southwest and you’ll find the personality and ego you absolutely don’t want in the franchise star. If it doesn’t work for Ja Morant, he’s going to make sure it doesn’t work for everybody else.
Period.
When the Grizzlies weeded out pick-and-rolls from the game plan last season, Morant pouted and the coach was fired. When the Grizzlies started this campaign by catering the offense to Morant, the team struggled and the point guard threw a fit.
Now Morant’s coming off another suspension, and he’ll learn quickly, just like previous goofballs Gilbert Arenas and DeMarcus Cousins, that other franchises won’t be lining up to hand him the keys.

Suddenly, someone had hit a rewind button and everyone had been transported back seven months. It was early spring instead of late fall, it was broiling hot outside the arena walls and not freezing cold. Everyone was back at TD Garden. There were 19,156 frenzied fans on their feet begging for blood, poised for the kill.
