Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the traditional Bangus valley festival in the Kupwara district on Wednesday, along with Chinar Corps Commander Lieutenant General DP Panday and became a part of the two-day celebrations. The valley would be open to tourists from now. The annual festival saw the participation of hundreds of Gujjars, Bakarwals and other Kashmiri sightseers from Kupwara, Tangdhar and Handwara. The festival was conducted for two days on Tuesday and Wednesday.
