J&K LG approves Rs 12,600 crore District Capex Budget for state's equitable development

More than double the previous year’s budget of Rs 5134.4 crore, District Capex Budget 2020-21 is a community need-based plan which focuses on a rapid rise in the standard of living of the people.
In a historic decision, Rs 12,600.58 crore District Capex Budget was approved on Wednesday for equitable development of Jammu and Kashmir with active involvement of panchayats, Block Development Councils (BDCs)and District Development Councils (DDCs). The District Capex Budget 2021-22 for all 20 districts, more than double the previous year’s budget of Rs 5134.4 crore, was given the nod during a high-level meeting chaired by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar. During the marathon meeting, 20 chairpersons of District Development Councils, and all Deputy Commissioners gave a brief overview of their respective district plans.More Related News
