Capitals, who were handed a tough loss against the Sanju Samson-led side in their first meeting of the tournament, pulled off a tricky chase to win the game by 8 wickets in hand. The win was a huge boost for the morale of Delhi Capitals who need to win all their remaining games to enter the playoffs for this season.
Speaking after the game, man of the moment Mitchell Marsh said that it was all about peaking at the final moments of the tournament and carrying that momentum forward for a big flourish. He said that the Delhi camp had a great vibe going and hopefully they can do enough to get into the top four positions this season.

“At the end of the day in the tournament of cricket, it is about playing really well at the end of the tournament and if we can have two more good games, it can be an exciting couple of weeks,” Marsh said.
Marsh and Warner saw off one of the most exciting phases of powerplay bowling from Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna this season, saving the entre batting order from a collapse. Speaking about the partnership, Marsh said that it was one of the toughest phases of batting that he has ever been in.
