IND vs NZ 3RD T20I: Highlights | Scorecard
Batting at No.3, Kishan smashed 28 off just 13 deliveries as India chased down 154 with ease, setting the tone for a dominant powerplay that left New Zealand struggling to regain control of the contest.
India’s chase began on a shaky note after Sanju Samson was dismissed for a golden duck by Matt Henry, with the opener undone by a sharp delivery that rattled the stumps.
Walking in under early pressure, Kishan showed no hesitation and immediately went on the offensive, attacking both pace and spin with clean, powerful strokeplay. The left-hander added 53 runs in only 19 balls for the second wicket, shifting momentum decisively in India’s favour.
Although Kishan later holed out to Ish Sodhi, his brief but impactful stay had already broken New Zealand’s bowling rhythm.
