Is BJP govt in Karnataka okay with PM Modi giving Belgavi to Maharashtra? Asks HD Kumaraswamy

JDS chief HD Kumaraswamy has reacted to the ongoing Karnataka-Maharashtra border row and asked if the BJP government in Karnataka will be okay if PM Modi gives away the contested region of Belgavi to Maharashtra.

With a minister in the Karnataka government requesting PM Modi to intervene in the border row with Maharashtra, former CM HD Kumaraswamy said that there is no need for the prime minister to intervene in the issue. . , . . . .2/6 Posting a series of tweets, HD Kumaraswamy questioned whether the BJP unit in Maharashtra can urge the PM to act on the request and also if the BJP in Karnataka will be alright if Belagavi is handed over to Maharashtra. JDS chief HD Kumaraswamy said that the Maharashtra government raking the border and language issue is "nothing but diversion" and "must be condemned". He added that the Shiv Sena is using such diversionary actions since people in Maharashtra are not happy with their administration.
