IPL 2022: Watch LSG players, support staff break into celebrations in dressing room after their first-ever win

IPL 2022: Following their first-ever win in the tournament, Lucknow Super Giants players, led by captain KL Rahul, celebrated late into the night in their dressing room at the Brabourne Stadium.

A first win is always special and how much it meant for Indian Premier League newbies Lucknow Super Giants was evident by the way the players and members of the support staff celebrated at their dressing room at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday. LSG, who were one of the two new teams who joined the IPL bandwagon this year, outclassed defending champions Chennai Super Kings for their first win in only their 2nd game of the season.

The celebrations went on late into the night in Mumbai as the players and the support staff members were seen having fun in their dressing room with songs and motivational chants after their win over CSK. In a video shared by the franchise on social media, the youngsters and seniors alike can be seen chanting with papers in their hand.

The likes of Krunal Pandya, young Ayush Badoni and others can be seen charged up along with their captain KL Rahul who is part of the celebrations.

EXUBERANT LSG CELEBRATE WIN

LSG lost their IPL 2022 opener to fellow newbies Gujarat Titans after a top-order collapse but they came out all guns blazing against CSK, successfully chasing 211 on a dewy evening in Mumbai. By doing so, LSG entered record books, completing the 4th highest successful run chase in the history of the league.

The mood in the LSG dugout was charged up during the chase as LSG players and their mentor Gautam Gambhir were punching the air in delight after they went past the finish line.
