IPL 2022: KL Rahul was trolled on social media after Lucknow Super Giants lost their opening match to Gujarat Titans. Rahul’s comments on social media on the defeat left a section of cricket fans surprised.

Lucknow Super Giants’ newly-appointed captain was on the receiving end of some social media trolling over his post on social media after the new franchise’s opening-day defeat in the Indian Premier League. Rahul’s men let slip an opportunity to begin their new campaign with a victory as they failed to defend a 158 run-target in a last-over thriller against fellow newbies Gujarat Titans on Monday.

In a bid to keep their spirits high, KL Rahul took to social media and said it felt like Lucknow Super Giants had won their IPL 2022 opener, talking up the valiant fight that was on display from the team.

“This one felt like a win because of the way we fought. Proud,” KL Rahul said.
