Kane Richardson (Royal Challengers Bangalore), Adam Zampa (Royal Challengers Bangalore), Ravichandran Ashwin (Delhi Capitals), Liam Livingstone (Rajasthan Royals) and Liam Livingstone (Rajasthan Royals) have withdrawn from IPL 2021 amid the dangerous second wave of coronavirus in India. 2 umpires - India's Nitin Menon and Australian Paul Reiffel - also pulled out of the cash-rich T20 league. Menon left because his wife and mother reportedly tested positive for Covid while Reiffel returned home a few days back due to anxiety about the Australian government not allowing flights from India.
