IPL 2021: SRH all-rounder Sherfane Rutherford leaves bio-bubble in UAE to return home after father's demise

IPL 2021: Sherfane Rutherford, who was signed as a replacement player for Jonny Bairstow headed home after leaving the Sunrisers Hyderabad camp in the UAE on Thursday.

Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday said West Indies all-rounder Sherfane Rutherford has headed home after his father passed away. Rutherford left the bio-bubble of SRH in the UAE to be with his family.

Sherfane Rutherford joined Sunrisers Hyderabad only in the 2nd leg of IPL 2021 as he was signed as a replacement player for Jonny Bairstow, the England all-rounder who pulled out of the remainder of the tournament, citing workload.
