IPL 2021: Shikhar Dhawan smashed 85 runs to take the top spot on the list of most runs against Chennai Super Kings, who lost by 7 wickets against Delhi Capitals in Mumbai on Saturday.

Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan went past Virat Kohli on the list of most runs scored by batsmen against the Chennai Super Kings in T20 cricket during Match 2 of the Indian Premier League in Mumbai on Saturday. Dhawan went past Virat Kohli's tally of 901 runs against MS Dhoni's side when he scored his 77th run in the 189-run chase at the Wankhede stadium. Dhawan now leads the list with 910 runs versus the three-time champions followed by Kohli (901), Rohit Sharma (749), David Warner (617), Ab de Villiers (593) and Robin Uthappa (590). Dhawan also went past Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner on the overall list of most runs in IPL.
