IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals sign Tabraiz Shamsi as Andrew Tye's replacement for remainder of tournament

IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals announced on Wednesday that they have brought on board World No. 1 spinner Tabraiz Shamsi for the remainder of the Indian Premier League in the UAE.

Former champions Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday announced the signing of Tabraiz Shamsi, the World No. 1 bowler in T20 cricket, for the remainder of the Indian Premier League 2021 season in the UAE. Shamsi will join the Royals as a replacement for Australia fast bowler Andrew Tye who has pulled out of the remainder of the season due to personal reasons. South Africa spinner Shamsi is the second replacement player for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021 after they signed New Zealand batsman Glen Philips as a replacement for Jos Butler who opted out of the remainder of the tournament.
