IPL 2021: Former India cricketer Parthiv Patel has said that RCB failed to answer a lot of questions during the IPL 2021 auction. He added that Moeen Ali, who was released from the franchise ahead of the auction, could have given a different dimension altogether to the team's playing XI.
Former India wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel has said that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have failed to answer a lot of questions during the IPL 2021 auction. The cricketer-turned-commentator has added that England all-rounder Moeen Ali, who was released from Virat Kohli-led franchise ahead of the February auction, could have given more dimension to the side's playing XI. Notably, Moeen Ali was bought by MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for Rs 7 crore for the 14th edition of the cash-rich league. The off-spinner had set himself a base price of Rs 2 crore going into the mini-auction. "But I think, as Aakash rightly said, there were a lot of questions to be answered in the auction, but I don't think they have answered those questions. Just because they were not expecting it to go out of Bangalore (all the 8 teams will play at neutral venues this year).More Related News
