Australian pacer Nathan Coulter-Nile has revealed that he was surprised to see compatriots Andrew Tye, Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson pull out of the IPL in 2021.
Australian pacer Nathan Coulter-Nile was surprised to see compatriots Andrew Tye, Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson leaving home midway from the IPL but he feels safer being part of the Mumbai Indians bio-bubble as India battles a deadly second wave of COVID-19 infections. Andrew Tye, who was part of the Rajasthan Royals squad, left for home on Sunday, citing concerns about the rising number of Covid cases in India as he feared getting "locked out" of his own country, Australia. Royal Challengers Bangalore's Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson followed suit on Monday. However, Coulter-Nile understands why his compatriots have decided to leave midway. "Everyone's got their own opinions on it and different situations for them," Coulter-Nile told cricket.com.au where more than 20,000 cases have been reported daily for the past week.More Related News
