Former England captain Kevin Pietersen believes MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings have a ‘fantastic shot’ at winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 when the tournament resumes in UAE.

Former England captain Kevin Pietersen admitted that he was surprised by the Chennai Super Kings' performance in the first half of the IPL 2021 and MS Dhoni-led CSK has a ‘fantastic shot’ at winning the title for the fourth time. CSK were at the 2nd spot of the 8-team IPL 2021 points table with 7 wins in 10 matches before the season was suspended.

"Everybody wrote off the old boys’ army of CSK before the IPL started in April, so seeing them go so well was a bit of a surprise," Pietersen told Betway.
