IPL 2021: It's about continuing the momentum from 1st phase, says RCB opener Devdutt Padikkal
India Today
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) opener Devdutt Padikkal feels that the gap between the first and second phase of IPL wasn’t long and therefore teams just need to continue their momentum.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) opener Devdutt Padikkal said that it'll just be about carrying the momentum forward once the IPL 2021 resumes in the United Arab Emirates. Padikkal remains to be one of the main players to be watched out for in the gulf nation for RCB as he has been shining for them for two years. "In India, cricket is a huge festival and it is a religion, to be honest. There is a lot of attention you get outside the sport as well so it is very important to try to keep your focus on the game. You have to appreciate the love they are showing. It is pretty easy to drift away and get distracted. So, what I have tried to do is to focus on the game as much as possible and try not to look at the media because it is easy to get distracted by those things. I try to keep things simple and just focus on what I am doing on the field," Padikkal said in a video interview posted by RCB on their Twitter account.More Related News
