Former England spinner Graeme Swann has lauded Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) all-rounder Glenn Maxwell for his sublime 49-ball 78 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the first game of Sunday. Swann said that the hard-hitting Australian has surprised him more than anyone else in the IPL 2021. The 42-year-old also admitted that he was surprised to see Maxwell get Rs 14.25 crore in February's mini-auction. 32-year-old Maxwell has shined in RCB colours and played match-winning knocks in all his three matches of the season. On Sunday, Maxwell scored his 2nd consecutive fifty and helped Bangalore recover after losing captain Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar in the first 2 overs.
