Aakash Chopra said that Chennai Super Kings have been a bit over-reliant on their top three — Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali — in IPL 2021.

Former India cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra believes Chennai Super Kings' “soft underbelly” or the vulnerable middle order will be exposed if the top three — Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis, and Moeen Ali — fail to perform. Chopra pointed out that MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina's form are 'weaklings' which need to be improved upon ahead of the IPL 2021 playoffs.

The top spot is up for grabs as Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings, both of whom have qualified for the play-offs, face each other at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.
