Scott Styris feels Mumbai Indians should have waited to buy South African left-arm pacer Marco Jansen next year at the mega-auction instead of getting him on board this year for Rs 20 lakh.

Former New Zealand all-rounder Scott Styris thinks Mumbai Indians shouldn't have bought Marco Jansen at the IPL 2021 mini-auction in February as they might have to pay a lot of money for him once again next year. Styris feels MI should have waited to buy the big South African left-arm pacer next year at the mega-auction instead of getting him on board this year at his base price of Rs 20 lakh. "I think this is a bad move for Mumbai Indians to pick up Marco Jansen right now, because now, as we are doing, we are talking about it, everybody is talking about it.
