IPL 2021: Already preparing for slow and spin-friendly wickets of Chennai - Shikhar Dhawan

IPL 2021: In an interview with his teammate R Ashwin, Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan has explained the reason why he has started sweeping against fast bowlers as well. The southpaw has also stated that he was geared up for the challenge to bat on slow Chennai wickets.

Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan, who smashed match-winning 92 off 49 balls against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Sunday, has already started his preparations for the Chennai leg of his team. The current Orange Cap holder, who has scored 186 runs in 3 matches so far, said that he was following the IPL 2021 matches in Chennai and preparing himself for the slow and spin-friendly wickets there. Delhi Capitals, who won two out of their three matches in Mumbai, will now fly to Chennai to face Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
