
Interpol notice against self-styled godman for sexually abusing minor girls in Delhi in 2017

79-year-old self-styled godman Virendra Deo Dixit who is accused of confining and sexually assaulting minors is suspected to be hiding in Nepal. An Interpol notice has been issued against him.
The Interpol has issued a red corner notice against Virendra Deo Dixit, a self-styled godman who is accused of sexual exploitation and confinement of several girls over a period of time in a fortress-like ashram in Delhi’s Rohini area. The case came to light in June 2017 when two complainants approached the Delhi Police about sexual and physical abuse of women at Adhyatamik Vishwa Vidyalaya in Vijay Vihar area of North Delhi. Over a period of time, the Delhi Police registered three FIRs. Virendra Dixit, 79, has been absconding since then and is suspected to be hiding in Nepal. Earlier In an attempt to nab self-styled godman Virendra Deo Dixit who is accused of confining and sexually assaulting minors, the CBI has issued a reward of Rs 5 lakh to those who provide any information regarding the location of the godman.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
