Indian team leaves Dominica without Mehul Choksi: Sources

The Indian team, including CBI officials, have left Dominica without fugitive businessman Mehul Choksi.

The Indian team, which was in Dominica to get Mehul Choksi to India after his possible deportation, has left the Caribbean Island without the fugitive businessman, sources said. The eight-member team including two officials from Central Bureau of Investigation had landed in Dominica on May 28 to get Choksi if he is deported to India. The Bombardier Global 5000 business jet of Qatar Executive departed from the island at 8:10 pm on Thursday. Mehul Choksi remains at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital under police guard.
