Aimed at enhancing the reach of the Indian Navy’s surveillance, the second squadron of Boeing P-8I patrol and reconnaissance aircraft commenced operations from INS Hansa, Goa with two new aircraft.
With two more aircraft expected to come in, four such aircraft will be permanently stationed in Goa, giving a push to the Navy’s reach for surveillance in the Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea.
