India vs Sri Lanka: India captain Rohit Sharma heaped praise on R Ashwin, saying he is impressed with off-spinner's ability to improve with every match he plays. Ashwin overtook Kapil Dev on the all-time wicket-takers list on Sunday.
There is no doubt about R Ashwin's greatness and the off-spinner has been leaving Rohit Sharma in awe with his ability to improve with every passing game, the India captain said after their dominant win over Sri Lanka in the 1st Test of a 2-match series in Mohali on Sunday.
R Ashwin on Sunday overtook legendary all-rounder Kapil Dev to become India's 2nd highest wicket-taker in Test cricket. Ashwin went past Kapil's tally of 434 wickets and now is next only to Anil Kumble, who is at the top of the Indian list with 619 wickets.
