India vs Pakistan: Shaheen Afridi took the all-important wickets of openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul and later became the first Pakistani bowler to dismiss Virat Kohli in a T20 World Cup.

Shaheen Afridi was the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan in their opening match of the T20 World Cup against India, taking the three crucial wickets of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. Afridi said after the innings that the team's plan was for him to take as many wickets as possible in the powerplay.

"Team's plan was executed very well. The plan was I'll take wickets early on and then return later to add pressure," said Afridi in an interview with the broadcasters.
