India vs New Zealand 2nd Test: Virat Kohli's dismissal on Day 1 divided opinions and Australia spin great Shane Warne said that the India captain was not out.
Australia spin great Shane Warne joined the chorus of voices against India captain Virat Kohli's dismissal on Day 1 of the second Test against New Zealand in Mumbai. Kohli opted for DRS after the on-field umpire said he was out LBW and while replays showed that he had got an inside edge, the third umpire ruled that there was not enough evidence to rule that the edge had come before the ball made impact with the pad.
"This is simply - not out !!!!! We often discuss technology & its use / accuracy. The main problem@is the interpretation of the technology. Here’s a perfect example of the ball clearly hitting the edge of the bat first," Warne said in a tweet.
