India dominated proceedings with bat and ball on Day 2 to take the upper hand against New Zealand in the second Test despite Ajaz Patel's historic 10-wicket haul in Mumbai.

India opener Mayank Agarwal on Saturday said that they will look to "pile on as many runs as possible" and put New Zealand under pressure on Day 3 of the second and final Test in Mumbai.

India dominated proceedings in the second half of Day 2 after Ajaz Patel's historic 10-wicket haul and ended up with a 332-run lead over the visitors till the close of play.
