India vs England: Suryakumar Yadav has great talent but I do not see him in playing XI for 1st ODI- VVS Laxman

India's VVS Laxman believes that the bench strength of Team India is so strong that even a player of the calibre of Suryakumar Yadav may not get picked in playing XI.

Mumbai Indians batsman Suryakumar Yadav had quite the perfect start to his international T20I career for Team India, but despite that former India batsman VVS Laxman believes that there may be no spot for him in the playing XI of the first ODI against England. Laxman also added that Suryakumar has done exceedingly well in IPL for the Mumbai Indians and that there is no doubt about how talented the batsman is, but the Team India bench strength is so strong that even a player of his calibre may not get a spot in the playing XI at times. “I actually don’t know whether he will get to play in the playing XI and that’s the depth in this Indian team. Whether you take Test, one-day or T20I cricket, Suryakumar Yadav doesn’t get into the playing XI just because there are others who have performed exceedingly well in international cricket.
