The stamping of the USA visas was delayed and it required the intervention of Guyana President Irfaan Ali to complete the paperwork. India and West Indies will play 3rd and 4th T20Is on August 6 and 7 in Florida.

The fourth and fifth T20I matches between India and West Indies in Florida will go ahead as planned after the teams received the USA visas.

The stamping of the USA visas was delayed and it required the intervention of Guyana President Irfaan Ali to complete the paperwork.

According to ESPNcricinfo, the members of India and West Indies had to fly down to Georgetown in a charter flight after the third T20I in St. Kitts. The teams were earlier expecting their USA travel documents in Trinidad or St. Kitts, where the firt three T20Is of the five-match series were played.

Cricket West Indies (CWI) was confident that the issue would be resolved in time, but the board was also preparing a backup plan to host the third and fourth T20Is in Port of Spain. Those with the requisite USA visa flew from St. Kitts, while the rest of the visitors will fly into Miami via a charter from Georgetown on Thursday. India head coach Rahul Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma are among those who will be leaving from Georgetown.

The T20I leg of the limited-overs series between India and West Indies was hit by logistical hitches in the first and second games. While the first T20I got delayed by three hours due to the late arrival of team kits from Trinidad, the start time of the second game was pushed back by one and a half hours to give players rest and recovery time.

India, who are currently leading the five-match series 2-1, and West Indies will play the back-to-back fourth and fifth T20Is on August 6 and 7.
