India's sees slight rise in Covid-19 cases, records 54,069 new infections, 1,321 deaths

India on Thursday recorded 54,069 new Covid-19 cases and 1,321 deaths. A total of 68,885 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the recovery tally to 2,90,63,740 across the country.

India recorded 54,069 new coronavirus cases of Covid-19 and 1,321 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 3,00,82,778 on Thursday. The active caseload in India dropped to 6.27 lakh while recovery rate improved to 96.61 per cent, according to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Thursday morning.
