In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Shardul Thakur, medium pacer Deepak Chahar is set to spearhead the Indian pace bowling attack in the upcoming tour Sri Lanka tour in July later this year. The 28-year-old pacer believes India's white-ball team, by no means, will be a second-string team. “Our second-string team is looking as good as the main team. We have a lot of options," Chahar was quoted as saying by TimesofIndia.com. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pacer had a great run in the Indian Premier League (IPL) before it got suspended midway due to the coronavirus crisis. Chahar returned with eight wickets in seven IPL 2021 matches.More Related News
