India's biggest Covid treatment facility with 1,000 oxygen beds coming up in Kochi

One of India’s biggest Covid-19 care facilities with oxygen beds is being set up in Ernakulam district of Kerala. The 1,000-bed first-line treatment centre at Ambalamugal will be ready by Thursday, officials have said. Officials of the Ernakulam district administration have said a temporary structure with 1,000 beds with oxygen support is being constructed at the Ambalamugal Refinery School ground.
