India fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s father, Kiran Pal Singh lost a long-fought battle against liver cancer on Thursday at his residence in Meerut. He was 63.

India fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s father Kiran Pal Singh died of liver cancer on Thursday, March 20. Kiran Pal Singh, who was a sub-inspector with the Uttar Pradesh Police, passed away at his Meerut residence. He was 63. Kiran Pal Singh underwent chemotherapy at the All Institute of Medical Science in New Delhi after consultation with specialists in the UK. He was admitted to a private hospital in his hometown, Meerut after his health condition deteriorated two weeks ago. Two days after he was discharged from the hospital, Kiran Pal Singh breathed his last. Bhuvneshwar Kumar's father was first diagnosed with liver cancer in September 2020 when the fast bowler was playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League in the UAE, according to reports.
