India not looking at separate teams for separate formats, says new head coach Rahul Dravid

Speaking at his first press conference as the head coach of the India cricket team, Rahul Dravid said he will prioritise the mental and physical well-being of players while planning for major tournaments during his tenure.
India's newly-appointed head coach Rahul Dravid gave a sneak peek of the roadmap for Indian cricket in the lead up to as many as 3 major tournaments in the next 2 years, saying he is not looking at different teams for different formats. Contrary to expectations that India will hit the reset button after the early T20 World Cup 2021 exit, Dravid said he will be focused on having players mentally switched on for major tournaments.
Rahul Dravid has taken over as the head coach of India men's senior team amid much fanfare following the end of Ravi Shastri's tenure at the T20 World Cup. Dravid will work with new T20I captain Rohit Sharma in their first assignment together -- the T20I series against New Zealand, starting November 17.
