India in England: James Bracey and Haseeb Hameed named in 14-member County Select XI for practice game

Emirates Riverside stadium in Durham will host a County Select XI against India in a three-day behind closed doors warm up game starting on Tuesday.

County Select XI has announced a 14-member squad for the upcoming three-day practice match against India in Durham. Out-of-favour England opener Haseeb Hameed has been named in the squad to be led by Will Rhodes. England will host India in a series of 5 Tests in London, Leeds, Nottingham and Manchester. "The squad was selected after consulting with the first-class counties on player availability and to provide some of the high-potential talent from across the county game with the opportunity to test themselves against the ICC World Test Championship finalists," the England & Wales Cricket Board stated.
