India in England: BCCI offers ECB a rescheduling of the cancelled 5th Test match

The BCCI has offered the ECB a rescheduling of the cancelled Test match and both the boards will work towards finding a window to reschedule this Test match. The fifth test between England and India at Old Trafford was cancelled barely two hours before its scheduled start.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday offered the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) a rescheduling of the cancelled Test match. “In lieu of the strong relationship between the BCCI and the ECB, the BCCI has offered to ECB a rescheduling of the cancelled Test match. Both the Boards will work towards finding a window to reschedule this Test match,” BCCI said in a statement.
