In veiled attack on Narayan and Nitesh Rane, Sanjay Raut says father-son duo will go to jail

In a veiled attack on Union minister Narayan Rane and his MLA son Nitesh Rane, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said the father-son duo will go to jail.

In a veiled attack on Union minister Narayan Rane and his MLA son Nitesh Rane, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said, "The father-son duo will go to jail. Period."

"And rest assured, apart from Baap and Beta [father and son], 3 Central agency officials and their 'Vasuli Agents' will also go behind bars," said Sanjay Raut in a tweet on Wednesday.

"Maharashtra Jhukega nahi!," he said while captioning a picture of a tiger on Twitter.

Sanjay Raut's statement came days after the Mumbai Police filed an FIR against Narayan Rane and Nitesh Rane for allegedly defaming family members of the late Disha Salian, former manager of deceased Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

The FIR was registered against the Rane father-son duo on Saturday after he made certain claims regarding Disha Salian's death.

The case was registered based on the complaint lodged by Disha's mother Vasanti Salian. Before this, Vasanti Salian had approached the Maharashtra State Women's Commission (MSWC) demanding action against Narayan Rane, Nitesh Rane and others for defaming the Salian family on various media platforms, an official was quoted by news agency PTI as saying.
