In 15 days, Andhra Pradesh sees dip in active cases

According to the official data, the positivity rate in the state was 25.56 per cent on May 16, whereas the number of active cases stood at 2,11,554. Within 15 days, the positivity rate and the number of active cases have dipped to 13.02 per cent and 1,43,795 cases respectively.

Amid the second wave of Covid-19, Andhra Pradesh has witnessed a considerable dip in the positivity rate as well as the number of active cases in the past 15 days. According to the official data, the positivity rate in the state was 25.56 per cent on May 16, whereas the number of active cases stood at 2,11,554. Within 15 days, the positivity rate and the number of active cases have dipped to 13.02 per cent and 1,43,795 cases respectively. The positivity rate of the state and the number of active cases have gone down by 49 per cent and 32 per cent respectively since May 16.
