Having lost his spot in the Test and T20I side for India earlier, former India batsman Deep Dasgupta believes that it will be tough on KL Rahul to be axed from the ODI team as well.

The last few months in the game have been tough for India star batsman KL Rahul. After an extremely successful season at IPL 2020, where he was the highest run-scorer and piled on 670 runs at an average of 55.83 with 1 hundred and 5 fifties, he has been on a downward spiral. He had to return from the national team after he suffered a wrist injury post the T20Is series against Australia. But ever since he recovered from it, his game seems to have taken a beating. Rahul registered scores of 1,0,0 and 14 in the first four matches of the T20I series against England and was dropped for the fifth and final game.
