Idaho student murders suspect Bryan Kohberger is no longer enrolled at or employed by the Washington State University, where he was studying for a Ph.D.

"Mr. Kohberger received an appointment as a teaching assistant at Washington State University during the fall 2022 semester," Weiler explained. "It is typical for students to receive a teaching assistantship or similar appointment as part of their Ph.D. program."
