India badminton legend Prakash Padukone said that the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan should proceed as planned.

Indian badminton legend Prakash Padukone said that the upcoming India-Pakistan clash in the T20 World Cup should go ahead despite the prevailing political tensions between the two countries. Virat Kohli-led Indian team will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in their opening match of the T20 World Cup on October 24.

There have been demands to cancel the upcoming India vs Pakistan match at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 with the likes of Union Minister Giriraj Singh asking for ‘reconsideration’ due to the tense relationship between the two countries.
