Indian top order batsman Rahul Tripathi became a household name in Indian cricket. Tripathi made his name for his attacking approach to batting and his eccentricities in the middle. Considered a highly able cricketer in the middle overs of the game, Triapthi's adeptness against pace and spin makes him a highly sought after commodity in the Indian cricketing circles.
After showing his class in the KKR shirt, Tripathi was paid a massive amount of Rs 8.5 crore to improve the explosiveness of their middle order. Speaking about the skills that he brings to the table, the right hander said that his adaptability sets him apart.
"So, I think that I am batsman that whatever the team requires at that moment, I can adapt to that. What I see in T20 cricket, the most important thing you know is the game should keep going on," Tripathi said.

Many Indian batsmen have been criticised for their dot ball percentage and that is where Tripathi comes into play. Fans have voiced their wishes for Tripathi being included in the Indian squad; the opinions will only grow louder if Tripathi makes it big this season. The right-hander has already scored 250 runs at a strike rate of 177 and the best of it is possibly yet to come.
"I think that going into the crease, being busy and scoring those runs and you know always keeping the scoreboard ticking with singles doubles and boundaries, there's how I make the game," Tripathi talked about his style of play.SunRisers have a minimum of four more matches to play and Rahul will have to go big if SRH are to make it to the playoffs this season.
