
Human remains found on banks of Thames River near Dorchester, Ont.

Police are investigating after someone fishing on the banks of the Thames River in Dorchester, Ont., reported finding human remains on Wednesday.
Middlesex OPP officers were called to Hamilton Road near Byron Avenue just before 2 p.m. ET.
"A member of the public observed the human remains along the bank of the Thames River, while fishing," Ontario Provincial Police said in a statement.
OPP officers are working with the office of the chief coroner and the Ontario forensic pathology service.
An autopsy will be done to determine the identity of the remains and a cause of death.
