Hillary Clinton testified in Epstein probe. Here's what to know

Hillary Clinton testified in the House Oversight committee's probe into Jeffrey Epstein. Here are the moments you should know about.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton denied knowledge of the criminal activities of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell in recorded testimony to the House Oversight committee.
Clinton stated that she never met Epstein, flew on his plane or traveled to the island he owned. She did admit that she knew Maxwell "casually."
"Like every decent person, I've been horrified by what we have learned about their crimes," Clinton said.
The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee said in her opening statement that "too often congressional investigations are partisan political theater." The proceedings were later interrupted when Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colorado, leaked photos of the former secretary of state to conservative YouTuber Benny Johnson.
The following day, former President Bill Clinton sat before the committee, becoming the first former president forced to testify before lawmakers. He also said that he “had no idea of the crimes Epstein was committing.”
